The small breeds - also called mini breeds - are dogs that reach an adult weight of less than 10
kg. Despite their smaller size, these dogs are extremely strong and have a long life expectancy.
Dogs from small breeds can become older than 16 years.
Small dogs are also fully grown faster. They predominantly grow during the frst six months
of their lives and are fully grown after 10 months. It is therefore advised to switch to an adult
