The medium-sized breeds are dogs with an adult weight of between 10 and 25 kg. Medium-
sized dog breeds have well-developed physical characteristics and are therefore often used
for sports and work.
Two main groups of breeds belonging to the medium-sized breeds are sporting dogs and
sheepdogs. Dogs from medium-sized breeds have a life expectancy of 12 to 14 years. The pups
